Education continues to serve as the primary catalyst for the advancement of industry, business, and science. The Conference offers the following sessions:

(1) Empowering High-Tech Entrepreneurship and Research in APEC: targeted initiatives to support leadership through specialized tracks, university incubators, mentorship and cross-APEC networks.

(2) Fostering Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Startup Creation in APEC Higher Education: practical strategies for developing entrepreneurial mindsets, university incubators/accelerators and industry partnerships to help students launch and scale startups.

For in-person participants, visits to the university's scientific infrastructure in the high-tech fields will be possible. The programme includes visits to leading research and innovation facilities, including the Institute of High Technologies and Advanced Materials, the Institute of the World Ocean, the petroleum engineering training centre at Far Eastern Federal University, and the Innovative Science and Technology Center on Russky Island. These visits will showcase advanced research infrastructure and facilitate the development of joint research projects, academic programmes, and institutional partnerships among APEC economies.

Referring to the vision depicted in APEC Education Strategy 2016-2030 and its Action Plan, APEC CCHE 2026 offers a universal platform for addressing key issues in higher education.

APEC CCHE is to be held in a hybrid format at Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok and via online conference software on September 2, 2026.
