To promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in APEC member economies and the coordinated development of industrial and supply chains, China proposes to host the “2026 APEC SME Digital Forum.” The forum is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou in September 2026. This half-day event will bring together stakeholders from APEC member economies, including government, industry, and academia. Through keynote speeches, case studies, and interactive discussions, the forum will promote “the digital transformation of industrial and supply chains” to help SMEs integrate into global industrial chains and ensure that the benefits of the digital economy reach more small, medium, and micro enterprises.
