This project addresses challenges in achieving the UNAIDS 95-95-95 HIV/AIDS targets across APEC economies. HIV/AIDS reduces productivity, slows economic growth, increases costs, decreases family savings, increases absenteeism, and exacerbates economic inequalities. The project will help economies implement the APEC Action Plan to End the HIV Epidemic (2026-2031) and thereby accelerate progress towards ending HIV as a public health threat in the APEC region. To achieve this, the project will produce a dashboard to measure progress and host a policy dialogue to share best practices. These activities will engage policymakers, healthcare providers, and civil society from all APEC economies to foster regional collaboration and drive progress.
