This project aims to find appropriate digital solutions to respond to the needs and requirements of the ageing society by fostering Smart Silver Innovation in the Asia- Pacific region. Many economies face rapid demographic ageing, urbanization, and widening digital divides, requiring new data-driven approaches to community design and policymaking.
Based on the previous projects’ insights, the proposed project (Phase 4) will develop AI-enabled, data-driven Smart Silver Innovation models through workshops, surveys and joint research. Activities will focus on AI for ageing, digital access for all generations, ethical data use, and evidence-based policy design.
The project will be implemented in collaboration with leading universities in the Phase 3 (Peking U. of China, ITB of Indonesia, Waseda U. of Japan, Korea U. of Korea, La Salle U. of the Philippines, NTU of Singapore, Thammasat U. of Thailand, PTIT of Viet Nam, Harvard U. of the United States), in addition to OECD for international knowledge sharing and policy contributions toward Smart Silver Innovation.
