During the energy development of APEC economies, building reliable and clean energy supply has become an increasingly urgent priority. The project will also address practical knowledge-sharing and capacity-building needs related to clean energy policy management, integration and consumption of clean energy in power systems, market mechanisms, infrastructure coordination, and the exchange of relevant policies, methodologies and implementation experience among APEC economies. Promoting cleaning energy technology together with cultivating industrial professionals are both essential. The project will address these issues by organizing a systematic professional training, under the theme of “Innovative Practices of Clean Energy Deployment”, on the innovative practices of wind, solar and other forms of clean energy as well as a senior workshop to build up a professional exchange platform during the event. The event will be hosted in Fuzhou, Fujian, China in July 2026 for officials, institute researchers and senior executives from APEC economies. The event will include lectures, workshop and off-shore site visit to benefit participants acquire knowledge and share experience, so as to promote the technology sharing and enhance regional cooperation.
