To establish a platform for exchanges between APEC economies on cultivating quality SMEs, People’s Republic of China has proposed to host 2025 APEC SME Business Forum. The forum will focus on the theme of "Digital empowerment, Technological innovation, Inclusive development” and joint efforts among APEC economies and stakeholders (government, industry, and academia) to share practices and promote cooperation.

The 2025 APEC SME Business Forum is scheduled to be held in Shenzhen, China, from December 10 to 11, 2025, spanning a duration of two days. Representatives from SMEs, industry leading enterprises, government officials, experts, scholars, and service institution representatives will be invited to share their experiences, exchange opinions, and establish cooperation.
