Project Summary
In responding to the need to invest in human capital development in the 2016 APEC theme and 2015 Leaders’ Declaration, this project will set up an “APEC Skills Development Capacity Building Alliance” to prepare the workforce and SMEs in upskilling for the 21st century. Therefore, this project aims in job training and skills development strategies, and adequate vocational education. The alliances provide a platform from which to progress to other areas of learning; or linked to industry-recognized credentials, as well as to obtain inputs from APEC member economies and bring them into the business mainstream.
